No, D2R welcomes dancers of all levels with specific classes for each (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced).

Dance shoes (or indoor shoes for new students) and semi-casual attire are preferred.

There are more than 10 teachers with different areas of expertise. Teachers are certified or have high level dance experience.

Yes, D2R participates in in-studio events including recitals, national and provincial competitions as well as out-of-studio performances, like galas, festivals and community events.

What is the schedule for the dance classes, and how often do they meet?

Classes run every day of the week including weekends. Each group class is typically scheduled on a once per week basis and runs for 8 weeks. The group class schedule is updated and published every week. Private classes are scheduled based on availability of the students and teachers.

Are there any trial classes available for new students?

D2R offers 1 free group trial class for new students.

What is the fee structure for the dance classes, and are there any additional costs, such as costumes or recital fees?

The fee is structured per term (1 term = 8 weeks). Students who wish to perform in recitals will need to cover the cost of costumes which varies depending on the dance. A typical range would be $50 to $150.

Are there any age-appropriate restrictions for certain dance styles?

All classes are suited to ages 5 and up except for Belly Dance and Burlesque which are for adults only.
